Accessibility statement

The Afinla.fi website is subject to a law regarding the provision of digital services, which requires that public online services must be accessible. This means that the website must fulfill the standards A and AA, as stated in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 criteria.

This accessibility statement has been published on September 1st, 2023. The accessibility of the website has been self-assessed by AFinLa ry.

The present state of accessibility 

The website has been renewed following the accessibility criteria in September 2023. The website largely fulfills the critical accessibility requirements.

However, there are some shortcomings on the website regarding accessibility: 

  • Attachments, the accessibility of which is uncertain
  • Images may include text that is not included in the textual content
  • The textual contents of images may have shortcomings

The aforementioned shortcomings in accessibility are under development. The aim is to always make new content on the website accessible.
