The conference will be organized by the Language Campus of the University of Jyväskylä, which is a joint effort between all the departments at the university that are responsible for researching and teaching language.
The theme of the conference is Language, change, and society. It will explore the impact of applied language studies by analysing what the field has researched in the past and at present, and by trying to predict what the field will look like in the future.
