The newest issue of AFinLA-teema (no 17) has been published on May 28, 2024. The thematic issue is entitled Puheen tutkimuksen uusia suuntia – Aineistona vapaasti tuotettu puhe (New directions in speech research – Freely produced speech as data), and edited by Minnaleena Toivola, Pekka Lintunen and Leena Maria Heikkola. The issue consists of eight peer-reviewed articles and an introductory article, and it examines freely produced speech from different perspectives, taking note of what freely produced speech is, and how often it is used as research data.
