AFinLA-teema is an open, peer reviewed publication series, published by the Finnish Association for Applied Linguistics. AFinLA-teema publishes thematic issues from the field of applied linguistics. Until 2022 the publication series was entitled AFinLA-e: Soveltavan kielitieteen tutkimuksia.
A new form has been added to the AFinLA website, which allows working groups to make publication proposals for AFinLA-teema. The annual deadline for the proposals is May 15th. The AFinLA board will go through this year’s proposals by the end of May and will then contact the senders. The proposal for AFinLA-teema that is accepted this year will be published in 2026.
